The Phantom of this Opera is a publication of the power of music, love, and betrayal. The book takes place in start of 1900 s. And Paris, France which vary from between the 1800 The book revolves about the orphaned singer Christine Daa that is named. Upon arrival at the Paris Opera House, she starts to hear a haunting voice that she considers to be the Angel of Music she was promised by her father on his death bed. The voice says when she asks if it is, but the voice is a member of a deformed and scarred man named. 

The voice starts to coach her falling in love with her, until she manages to come across the limelight on the supervisors retirement gala gaining the attention from a childhood friend that is infatuated, Chagny Raoul's Viscount. Her affection is noticed by Erik for the viscount and he introduces himself and becomes jealous. As the story unravels, characters that are improbable will assist the star crossed lovers stay. Past will be shown and things will take a twist. The time will probably be ticking and Christine might need to choose between the death of her fan and more or her nightmare. 



The places wherein the publication takes place ranges from the glowing stage prop Apollos Lyre where a forbidden kiss takes place to this catacombs of this underground labyrinth that protects this crazed musician who has created and also keeps creating his opera Don Juan Triumphant. The drastic changes in scenery help to create the mood of what the love triangle varies from. Erik and his dark settings show the darkness wherein Christine is forced to return to each time, but Raoul and also his light, welcoming atmosphere like Apollos Lyre are symbolic to how free she feels when shes to him. 

Paris is this so called city of love, but it's even known to its melodramatic stories without knowing that one such love could lead to this end of this Paris Opera House. Christine Daa grew up with her father, a Swedish violinist that traveled about Europe playing religious audio for weddings and comparable events. She was introduced into this story at this start of the novel. Her mother died when Christine was twelve, giving Christine no real mother figure to look up to leaving her father with a young child.
